Turkey is one of your favorite countries in the world. You’ve fallen in love with its cities, food, beaches, and landscape many times over. Unfortunately, it became a lot harder to travel there recently. A diplomatic standoff led to travel visas being suspended between Turkey and the United States. Supposedly, you can still obtain one upon arrival. But no one wants to risk being turned away after a long flight. So it might be a while before your next trip. Here are five spots to dream about until the stalemate is over—or you find another way to sneak in.
